SUPER HEROES
This was a cheaply and hastily put together Xerox book that I made up for a gallery opening of my super hero paintings (the drawings are copies of some of the paintings), in the hope that folks who wouldn't dream of spending 200 or 300 bucks on a painting might, if only out of pity, drop five dollars for the book. In any case, I made hundreds of these super heroes, more or less thinking of them as if they were in a Marvel comic that was illustrated by the Georges Rouault or Baselitz and written by Samuel Beckett. Of course, I couldn't paint or write like any of those guys and got what I got.
